The SM-Magnetic gives you the same silent magnetic resistance as the flagship, with a simple sport console instead of a touchscreen.
It needs no WiFi. Pair it with the free VersaClimber app over Bluetooth and track every climb on your phone.

Climb with arms and legs for a total-body session. Hold the rails and use only your legs for a stepper workout.
Each stroke hits shoulders, back, arms, abs, glutes, quads and calves with no pounding on your joints.
The eddy current brake creates resistance without friction, so the climb stays smooth and almost silent.
Eleven levels fit everyone from a new client to a pro athlete.
The VersaClimber app shows time, distance, speed, stroke length, watts and calories. Add a heart rate monitor, compete with friends and chase the Monuments climbing challenges.
Choose a free-standing Regular Base, a bolted Floor Mount, a Wall Mount, a Rack Mount or a rolling Stackable Base. The battery option frees you from the outlet.
You get the flagship resistance system for less by skipping the touchscreen.
It works anywhere. Bluetooth handles stats through the free app.
Designed for health club traffic with a 5-year frame warranty.
Built in California by the company that created the cardio climber in 1981.
Free freight shipping to the lower 48. VersaClimber ships its climbers by freight in a wood crate. We cover that freight on every climber we sell.

How to apply grease on SM and TS models
Regular Base stands on its own and moves when you need it to. Floor Mount bolts the same base to the floor for a fixed install. Wall Mount drops the base and anchors the climber to a wall, which saves floor space and lowers the price. Rack Mount attaches to a power rack. Stackable Base adds wheels for easy storage.
It adds a rechargeable lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery so the climber runs without a cord. You can place it anywhere in the room with no outlet and no trip hazard. It charges much like a tablet. It is not the best pick for 24/7 use without charging access.
VersaClimber rates the SM-Magnetic battery at up to 12 hours of continuous climbing. Switch it off overnight and a charge covers about three 8-hour days.
Both use the same 11-level magnetic resistance. The TS-Magnetic adds a WiFi touchscreen with built-in classes. The SM-Magnetic uses a simpler console and the phone app.
It ships by freight in a wood crate that measures about 100 x 12 x 22 inches. Shipping is free to the lower 48. Plan for a curbside delivery and a second person to help move the crate.
VersaClimber covers the frame, hand rails, base plate, handles, foot pedals, rollers and slides, hand grips and pedal straps for 5 years. The magnetic resistance system has 3 years and the electronics have 1 year. Coverage applies to commercial and home use.
